When you're feeling down on yourself, it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. You might have low self-esteem and lack confidence in your abilities, which leads to limiting beliefs that hold you back from reaching your full potential. But don't worry--there are ways to overcome these feelings! Everyone has limiting beliefs that create the perimeters that govern what they believe about themselves and what they believe they can accomplish in life. Fortunately, you can overcome existing limiting beliefs to achieve phenomenal results in life! I created the Crushing Limiting Beliefs course because too many of my clients were coming to me for help to reach the next level in their lives, but they were hampered by limiting beliefs they had been harboring for years. 

Below, you will find some vital tips I share in my course to help the students overcome their limiting beliefs to achieve remarkable results in relatively short timeframes. 

1. Identify Your Limiting Beliefs

The first step in overcoming limiting beliefs is to identify them. Ask yourself what you think is holding you back. Do you think you're not good enough? Do you think you don't have the skills or the resources? Maybe you think you are too old or not strong enough. Once you've identified your limiting beliefs, you can start to address them and work on overcoming them.

2. Challenge Your Limiting Beliefs

Once you've identified your limiting beliefs, it's time to challenge them. Ask yourself questions like, "Is this really true? Is there any proof that this limiting belief is true?" You might find that when you start to challenge these beliefs, you can begin to see that they're not actually true. Challenging your limiting beliefs is the beginning of unleashing your mind to achieve the phenomenal and extraordinary in your life.

3. Reframe Your Limiting Beliefs

Once you've identified and challenged your limiting beliefs, it's time to reframe them. Ask yourself how you can view the situation differently. Instead of believing that you're not good enough, for example, you could reframe that belief into something like, "I'm capable of learning and growing, and I can become better at this." This helps to shift your mindset and can help you to move forward. Remember, you don't get what you want in this life; you get who you are--what you are able to become. In order to have something you want, you must first become the person capable of producing or creating it. 

4. Set Goals and Take Action

Once you've identified, challenged, and reframed your limiting beliefs, it's time to set goals and take action. Write down your goals and come up with an action plan to achieve them. Start small and take small steps toward your goals. This will help you to stay motivated and focused on the progress you're making. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself and celebrate even the small level of progress.

5. Focus on Your Strengths

Instead of focusing on your weaknesses and the things that are holding you back, focus on your strengths and the things that you can do. This will help to give you a boost of confidence and will help you to focus on the positive aspects of yourself. While I believe in strengthening weaknesses, I encourage my clients to ride their strengths. Your strengths are the foundation of your success. No one is great at everything. Master what you are great at and connect with others who are great in the areas where you struggle. Collaboration with others will be necessary to reach the highest peaks in any area of life. 

6. Acknowledge Your Progress

As you take action towards your goals, make sure to acknowledge your progress. Celebrate the small victories and the steps you are taking toward your goals. This will help to keep you motivated and will help you to stay focused on the progress you are making.

7. Surround Yourself With Positive People

It's important to surround yourself with positive people who will support and encourage you. People who believe in you and will help you to stay focused on your goals. Find people who will fan your flames and hold you accountable. This will help to keep you motivated and will help to keep you on track.

8. Practice Self-Care

It's important to take care of yourself and practice self-care. Make sure that you're getting enough sleep, eating healthy, and exercising regularly. This will help to keep you energized and will help to keep your mind and body healthy.

9. Seek Support

If you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck, it's important to seek out support. Talk to a trusted friend or family member, or seek out professional help if needed. Having someone to talk to can help to give you perspective and can help you to stay focused on your goals.

10. Believe in Yourself

The most important step in overcoming limiting beliefs is to believe in yourself. Believe that you are capable and that you have the power to create the life you desire. Believe in your abilities and focus on the positive aspects of yourself. This will help to give you the confidence and motivation to keep going.

The Goal Is Consistent Growth

Every day when I wake up, my goal is to ensure that I learn something new---that I grow intentionally---so that I don't go to sleep that night being the same man I woke up as.

It's easy to get stuck in your ways and become stagnant. You need an attitude of growth as opposed to perfectionism or stagnation if you want any chance of realizing your dreams and goals in life.

The best way that I have found to create this growth is by reading books on a daily basis (20 pages minimum per day). Most days I read far more than 20 pages, though!

Reading books has been one of the most impactful things for me since becoming an entrepreneur and business owner over 30 years ago now; it has given me tremendous insight into how businesses operate at their highest levels, given me access to some of history's greatest minds who have inspired us all through their writings over time (whether directly through biographies), empowered me with knowledge about vital topics such as health/fitness/nutrition, etc., helped teach me how important communication skills are within relationships both personal & professional..and much much more!
